Hello and welcome! My name is Carina Teoh (TEE-oh) and I’m a cinematographer, producer/editor, photographer, and Michigander. I’ve spent the past 8 years in the film, television and digital media industry working on a wide variety of projects including Pete Buttigieg’s 2020 Presidential campaign, Amazon’s Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Senator Reverend Warnock’s 2022 Campaign, U.S. Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin’s 2020 campaign and official communications, Super Bowl commercials, short films, documentaries, live Broadway Netflix specials, sketch comedy, and branded content. I’ve travelled thousands of miles, worn through countless sneakers, and worked with teams on productions spanning four continents.

As the daughter of an immigrant and school teacher, one of the things I love most about my job is the ability to tell important and impactful stories through beautiful images. I’m constantly striving to work on stories with women both in front and behind the camera because I believe intentional decision-making is critically important to representation in this industry. Collaboration is the best part of storytelling so I look forward to working with you on our creative journey ahead.

When not daydreaming about lighting, I can be found planning out my next four meals, spending as much time as possible outside, or trying to catching up an ever growing list of movies I somehow missed in school.
